Omni-Channel ERP Consolidation for a Pan-European Retailer
CYVERRA VERIDION GROUP deployed a unified cloud ERP architecture across four regional operating divisions, harmonising supply chain, point-of-sale, and eCommerce operations. The engagement established a single source of truth for inventory and financials across 140 brick-and-mortar stores and multiple digital storefronts.

The Challenge
The retailer had grown rapidly through international acquisitions, leaving the enterprise reliant on four disconnected legacy ERP installations across five European markets. This fragmentation created severe operational blind spots, with stock visibility delayed by up to 24 hours due to overnight batch synchronisation routines. Disjointed inventory led to high rates of order cancellations, stockouts during peak promotional cycles, and inefficient cross-border stock transfers. Store associates lacked visibility into central warehouse allocations, preventing effective ship-from-store and click-and-collect fulfillment workflows. Furthermore, multi-currency accounting and inter-company transactions required extensive manual reconciliation at month-end. Leadership lacked consolidated real-time financial and commercial performance data to inform purchasing, pricing, and allocation strategies.
Our Approach
CYVERRA implemented a modern, scalable cloud ERP core built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, integrated with an event-driven middleware layer to connect existing POS terminals, warehouse management systems (WMS), and headless eCommerce engines. Our engineering team designed a standardised global data schema, establishing clean master data governance across SKU structures, customer profiles, and supplier catalogues. Event-driven integration pipelines using Azure Integration Services and Apache Kafka were deployed to stream transactional, inventory, and order status updates in near real-time across all channels. To mitigate operational risk, CYVERRA executed a pilot deployment in two regional hubs before rolling out the standard core platform to remaining markets in structured waves, supported by automated regression testing and rigorous cutover execution protocols.
The Outcome
The consolidated ERP platform eliminated data latency across physical and digital sales channels, enabling dynamic multi-node fulfillment and accurate ship-from-store capabilities across the entire estate. Group-wide inventory visibility was reduced from 24-hour batch intervals to sub-second updates, significantly reducing canceled online orders and out-of-stock occurrences. Finance operations achieved substantial efficiency gains, with inter-company reconciliations automated and month-end close timelines cut almost in half. Real-time commercial telemetry now provides merchandising and supply chain leadership with granular data on sales velocity, margin performance, and stock turn rates.
